Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) is no longer offering the state massage therapy licensing exam in Simplified Chinese. 
This change, effective in November 2025, was implemented because the TDLR found that providing the free Chinese translation unintentionally made Texas a target for human traffickers operating illicit massage businesses (IMBs).

The exam can be taken in English or Spanish.
